May 3, 2012:  ( aka Painting #60 )  : I began
this process by taking a deep breath, and
lighting a candle as a way of honoring and
acknowledging this 60-60 painting adventure.

I could see the benefits, and had always been
intrigued and inspired by other artists who
finished paintings in a day. I just wasn't
sure I could do it. The "plein-air, do-it-from-life"
stipulation Adele built into the challenge was
way out of my comfort zone.

Each day I gave myself permission to play,
and then opened to where the practice would
take me.  Each evening, I marveled at new
discoveries made along the way.

Besides seeing improvement in my own
methods, I was awestruck at techniques
learned through observing the artistic finesse
modeled in the artworks of all who participated
in the challenge. So much inspiration from
each artist!

I hadn't anticipated the added bonus of
encouragement received along the way.
Thank you, all, for that.

With much gratitude...my part in this project
now comes to a close.
