April 18, 2012: I like to start my day with
an energizing green drink...thanks to friend,
Sheri, passing along the recipe her doc
(Dr. Pamela Wible) recommended: 1 banana,
8-9 dino kale leaves, 1 apple and a large
chunk of fresh gingerroot. Add honey
or agave syrup for sweetening, if desired.
I also add chlorella powder and nutritional
yeast (for those lovely B vitamins). Mix in a
blender, on high, with your choice of liquid
(I use a blend of aloe juice, water and
coconut milk)...blend for at least 2 minutes.
You can substitute other greens, or throw in
whatever you have on hand. It's easy to go
through the quart and a half of this tasty
drink on my own; however, Paul likes
it, too...so I share. *wink*
Today, I poured a small amount in a
pretty glass in order to paint.
