May 2, 2012:   The friendships in life are
what I treasure most.

I'm not referring to the casual 'hi-how-are-you'
folks who're walking away before I've had
a chance to answer.

I'm talking about the beloved buddies who've
shared the easy, joy-filled upbeat moments;
and, more importantly, whose open hearts and
arms have companioned me through those
sacred 'dark nights of the soul'.

They know how precious and affirming it is to
be truly SEEN for who we really are, in the
fullness of our Being—the brightest light we
can possibly shine, and the darkest shadows
that lie in contrast.

To be SEEN, accepted and loved 'as is'...no
change required, no reciprocation expected.
It just doesn't get any better than that.
