March 14, 2012:  A very sweet bunny lives
in our vinca (under the mesquite tree).

When asked to hold a pose, she
politely declined and dove into
the mound of purple flowers.

To honor her shy absence, I placed a sprig
of vinca next to this bunny figurine a friend
gave me back in the 70s.

For those who love music as much as I do,
the title of this piece can also be sung to the
tune of 'My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean'...
"My Bunny Dove Into The Vinca".
