In the spring of 2003, with all of the chaos
in the world leading up to and surrounding the
war in Iraq, I had many sleepless nights.

Believing that peace begins within each one
of us, I felt the need to create a place
of peace within myself.

"The Promise of Peace" came out of that
process...and is the dream I continue
to hold for the world.
