Several storms over a 24-hr period left us
blanketed in a foot of glorious snow!

Friends called to say they were heading out
to snowshoe in Long Canyon. With so little
moisture this winter, our snowshoes have
been gathering dust (next to our cross-country
skis), so it seemed a perfect opportunity
to bring them out.

They looked so beautiful; leaning against the end of the woodpile...I had to make a quick
decision. Take them out on the trail; or stay
here, and paint...you can tell which won.
