April 5, 2012:   I love apples...all apples.

Beautiful and nutrition-packed...yet, has
any other fruit been mythologized as much as
the apple?

Symbolizing everything from eternal youth,
peace, beauty and vitality to enchanted
poison, temptation, sin, knowledge/wisdom,
the apple is depicted in almost every culture
around the world.

Either it seems the 'Big Apple' 'never falls far
from the tree' or 'it keeps the doctor away'.
You can be 'the apple of someone's eye'
or 'the rotten apple in the bunch'.

Like everything in life, it's all about
perception, isn't it?
