March 24, 2012:   Having ripe avocados
available every day is a decadent delight
that's really unique to the Southwest.

Sliced or chopped avocado, alone or in a
smoothie or raw soup, in a salad or on a
sandwich...delicious beyond description.

Avocado Pie from Quince's in Jerome...over-the-
top, hands-down...enter-into-an-altered-state
sublime! Ideally, I would have done a painting
of the pie; however, that would have required
my bringing it home, uneaten...for an hour's
drive in the car...too much willpower and
restraint involved...hence, the "Avocado."
